3. Public Workshop: Improving the Local Coastal Planning Process. Local Government Officials and Coastal Commissioners will discuss Improving the Local Coastal Planning Process. The workshop will be a moderated, public discussion and exchange of ideas about continuing to improve communication and make the LCP process more effective, predictable and efficient for all stakeholders. Public Comments will be included in the workshop. Agenda and background material for the workshop will be available on the Commission’s website. (CL/LF-SF)
The Public Workshop will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
South Coast District (Los Angeles County) items will begin after the lunch break.

5. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT. At some time prior to adjournment for the day, public comment will be heard for items not listed on today’s agenda for no more than 30 minutes.
