Attending board members:
Minutes of the March 11, 2011 were approved. Minutes of the most recent meeting of July 10, 2012 were omitted in error and will be submitted for approval at the next board meeting.
The Treasury report dated January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2018 with a cash balance of $44,907.15 as of December 31, 23018 and expenditures totaling $24,195.47 was approved.
Steve Forer reported on his progress in reviewing the County LCP Amendments and plans to meet with County personnel to suggest changes. Various problems with the amendments were discussed which will be addressed at the committee’s January 27th meeting.
The County LCP Amendments workshop proposed facilitator M.I.G. was discussed. A commitment to help with any needed funding was delayed until their proposal is reviewed and presented to the County for approval and possible funding.
The Coastal Commission Strategic Plan public comment period was discussed. A broadcast will be set to our members next week as the comment period ends January 31, 2019.
Our next annual meeting and membership drive was briefly discussed, including increasing the membership fee to $50. Keith will help Steve get started on managing the project prior to a date being set. Updated coastal property owner addresses will be needed as well as an improved mechanism for collecting annual dues. Keith will contact Deborah Hoyt to solicit updated owner addresses.
Steve Forer and Reed Geisreiter volunteered to join the Board. Membership voting for Board Members will be included in our membership drive mailing.
Geoff Flavel volunteered to assist the Board as a non-Board member.
