You are invited to attend our CPOA-SCC Annual Meeting on September 15, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. at the Seascape Resort. Featured Speaker: Professor Gary Griggs, who will speak about the past, recent and future sea level rise, impact on coastal erosion, stability of ocean bluffs, cliffs, and sand migration. Following his presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask Professor Griggs questions about sea level rise, coastal erosion and shoreline protection. Immediately after the Q&A, there will be an annual meeting of CPOA-SC to discuss the status of the County’s proposed Local Coastal Program (LCP), Coastal Commission’s Guidelines for Sea Level Rise and Residential Adaptation, identify strategies for coastal property owners, and to elect the CPOA Board Members.
