Dear Coastal Property Owners Association of Santa Cruz County Member:
David Carlson of the Santa Cruz County Planning Department has extended an invitation to attend an informational public meeting about updates to the Safety Element of the Santa Cruz General Plan. The updates include preparing for fires, floods, and coastal hazards considering future climate change and sea level rise. The brief presentation will be followed by an opportunity for questions, answers and further discussion.
The Coastal Commission is encouraging coastal property owners to attend this meeting prior to the County Board of Supervisors voting on approval of the plan.
